Just because im not busy enough...

In order to further my education to make me the best I can be at work (and volunteering) I decided to join VetMed Team and take some more classes.  I am taking the OSHA compliance course starting TODAY in order to surprise my boss (and colleagues) when I start setting up the OSHA stuff.  I know the basics, but learning correctly from a Vet who is teaching a class on it makes the world of difference.  I also signed up for a bunch of free courses on stuff I already know like vaccination protocols, and various others just to brush up and become current.  Unlike other "distance" learning, you are paired with a helper, and stay in touch constantly with your teachers, and live help.  Im pretty excited!  Yesterday I started purging the attic...what a mess....6 huge bags of old clothes for the clothing drop (what the hell were we saving this stuff for?) and it hasnt made a dent.  I was pretty excited that i found a 1978 fleetwood mac tour shirt, my old stone pony shirt from the early 80's, some old harley tank tops from bike week 1983, an Eagles "long run" tour shirt from the 70's, and a slew of old Grateful Dead concert shirts, the real deal from over the years.....i even retrieved a Cape May 1992 shirt from a trip with my little boys.  The rest went in the bins, i will never be a size 2 again, im sure of that.  Tonight is my sons first performance for the next two weeks...we arent going, we are going tomorrow night and next Sunday.  I used to go to every performance, but it gets kind of monotonous...i usually like to go opening and closing day, but hubby is still sick and has to work tomorrow, so i dont think he would enjoy himself tonight.  Well lots to do today, have to print my syllabus off of the desktop...cross your fingers it cooperates till im done with these classes at least.  happy day all
Yes i know i have posted this pic of hubby at adoption days before, but i felt the need to look at it again.....thanks to my hubby for being so supportive of me all the time :-)
