Sin week has ended, the con is over.
Calves of pain are my only memento of a weekend of awesome. Well, and the rest of the Akira mangas for an awesome price. I'll do a quick breakdown as there was a lot of wonderful moments but to list it all would be tedious and unfun.
Friday I drank with Tim, Max, Sam and Nick in Salem (I have a huuuge crush on Sam) and when Miles got into town we went up to Vancouver. After dropping our stuff, we met up with Kyle Smith at Ground Kontrol and continued the drinking. Good times.
Saturday was the first con day, I did my Vault Dweller costume (got recognized!) and had a generally good time. Spent little, took pictures, played arcade games, and just general stuff.
Sunday was the guilty gear photoshoot and tourney, which I went to both of (did all right in the tourney!) and we also hit up the Saturday Market to rock out (made 6 bucks!) That evening, I hung out with Steph for an hour to play some Seiken Densetsu 3 on actual cart (joygasm!) which we also did again Monday morning. Oh, and we got crazy drunk that night.
Monday was the last day, we hung out in the game room a bit, did another shop run through, then took off. I spent the evening laying about, reading Akira and sleeping.
All said and done, I spent a few hundred bucks on drinking and Akira mangas. It was a lot of fun!
