Cities I would visit again...and why
1. Rome. It was an amazing city with such incredible history and we did it in a day-not nearly enough time. and i missed out on seeing the sistine chapel (silly hours) so i definitely want to go back, not to mention its just cool and old and very amazing to look at all the ruins.
2. Salzburg. I want to visit the fortress and find Mozart's house and visit those, as well as going on the actual sound of Music tour. it was so pretty, all set in the mountains and even though it was touristy, it still had a rustic charm.
3. Munich. I just loved Germany and i wish i could have really known what to see in Munich, i want to go back and check out the olympic park and museums and possibly swim in the olympic pool (how cool would that be!) and i enjoyed the beirgartens, and brauhauses
4. Vienna. Austria-wonderful. beautiful city and i wish i could spend more time looking around the parks and places like all the museums
5. Fussen. it was the most touristy, yet at the same time most outdoorsy part of the trip. its in the alps, two amazing castles that are fairy-tale worthy and a beautiful lake and the views...breathtaking
6. Barcelona. Want to see the castle and the olympic park (yes another one...but i love sports and everything about them, especially the olympics) and to see inside the Gaudi cathedral...climb to the top if i can!
7. Venice. to see inside the palace and st. marks and maybe climb the bell/clock tower-i think it would be a fun experience, plus it was a neat city-and a gondola ride would be spiffy!!
Will not visit again: (at least not anytime soon)
1. Athens. just not a great experience
2. Milan. eh, i guess i would go back, but it didn't really stand out to me except the trash and bad smells
3. Zurich. its okay, didn't really have much time there, but also didn't seem like there was much to do there-when the train station is the happening place in town...not a good sign. oh well.
I think that covers all the cities i went to on the trip (that i actually spent some time in) and yeah, no one reads these anyways...oh well!
anyone on how to make cuts? or icons? i'm clueless!
