I don't write because I want to, because it feels good, or even because I have anything interesting to say. I write because I have to. Spoken words are meaningless, forgotten in time or ignored altogether. By writing I can begin to understand myself and the people I share my life with. I don't like expressing emotions through spoken words, as no one will take the time to listen. Even when people do listen it does not necessarily mean that they comprehend.
So whoever you are, if you find yourself reading this I thank you for your time - no matter how brief it may be. I assure you that I am not half as odd as I will eventually seem to be. This journal is for me to begin to figure out my life, and if you feel at all compelled to assist with a comment or anything, please do feel free.
