Sasha has bloody diarrhea. Last night and early this morning he sprayed the wall, floor,dog beds, a new pillow and our comforter.I am usually pretty good about cleaning up poo or vomit but this made me want to vomit. We are tired and doing lot's of laundry. We took him to the emergency vet this morning and they have him on meds. He's sad and his

I'm sorry about all that. Cleaning up something like that is the oppposite of pleasant. What could be causing it? Can dogs get hemerrhoids?

They checked him for hemoroids but said he doesn't have that. They think that it could be the prednisone that he has been taking for a year for his swollen fifth cranial nerve. The vet said that stress could have added to the problem. I might have to send him to a doggie spa to take a break from his stressful life...ha! We are waiting for the blood test results and he has a follow -up appointment on Saturday. Hopefully,it's nothing too serious but he is a senior citizien now so things are starting to fall apart.
