Title: When Love Runs
Pairing: 2min
Genre: fluff. and i mean REAL fluff; 2nd perspective
Rating: G
Summary: Running. It was Minho's therapy. He was afraid of being alone, being abandoned. Running. It made Minho feel alive. And Taemin wanted to understand why.
A/N: OMGOSH what kind of title is that. u__u And so, I wrote this while I was in class. So it was pretty fluffy and I didn't know the plot. It kept turning right then left and there is no point in this story. There is no clear plot :( I'm sorry, but I hope you enjoy it :)
It was cold. Snow was falling, painstakingly dressing the leafless trees with a dash of white. It was terribly cold and yet, you were running. The feeling of being along haunted you. Despite the people in your life, you felt strangely far apart.
Run, run, run away, a voice in your mind said. Run away from the pain. Run away from all your worries and problems. Run, Minho. Run.

"Where have you been?" He asked with the same tone that you heard every morning when he woke up and you weren't there. "I was worried."
"I went out. Needed some fresh air," you replied
It was true. You were a couple of small words. You don't talk much, but both of you make sure that you were showing your love, with or without words.
"You ran?"
"Yeah."
He stood and rushed to the kitchen. You heard distinct sounds of teaspoons gently tapping the sides of a cup. He scurried carefully but swiftly to you holding a cup full of hot chocolate.
"What were you thinking baout, running outside in this weather?! You have gone too far, Choi Minho." He scolded you with much concern while handing you the cup of hot choco.
"I'm sorry for worrying you. But thanks, anyway, Taemin," you thanked the younger one. It was these things that reminded you that you love him and he loved you.
He nodded then ran somewhere. You sat down carefully sipping the hot liquid. It felt warm and fuzzy and creamy and delicious.
He sure is a good cook, you thought. You closed your eyes. You then felt something warm and damp on your shoulders and back. It felt really good. You felt safe, protected, with just something so warm and cozy. You opened your eyes and you felt Taemin's presence behind you, fixing the warm towel on your back. He then sat down beside you and put his head in your shoulder. Both of you haven't said a word and the silence is deafening. You took another sip of your almost-finished cup of hot chocolate.
"Lately you've been running a lot." He finally spoke up.
"Yeah."
"Why?"
You sighed. "I run from the world. But the world is chasing after me. I run from the pain, from the troubles, from all my worries From the fear of being abandoned. Alone."
"Why run? You can always talk to me about all those. And you're never alone. I'm here."
"You don't understand." You stood up and put your cup on the table. It was useless to even explain this. You were getting ready to leave but he spoke up.
"Maybe I don't. But..I'm willing to. Sometimes people think I'm just a kid that doesn't understand things like love and pain. But truth is, I do. Because there's someone like you in my life."
Bam. You never felt so close to him before. It felt like something changed. You wanted to be with him forever, just because he was willing to understand you. No one ever said that to you before. And you felt like your love for him increased.
"Oh, Taemin." You rushed to him and hugged him, carried him in your arms. You leaned in to kiss his soft, tender lips for a millisecond and pulled away with a smile plastered on your face.
"Why are you smiling? Yah, I'm being serious here," he said while hitting your chest."Yah, put me down!" He wiggled his legs back and forth. You just laughed. You never felt so alive before. And you liked it. You rushed to the backdoor (which is a screen door so he can just push it with his sides) and ran to the path that you always pass by when you want to run.
"Hey, hey, where are we? Where are we going?" Taemin asked repeatedly.
You stopped for awhile. "You wanted to understand, right?" you asked.
"Yeah."
"Then keep quiet and wait 'til we get there." You were getting ready to run.
"Wait." You looked down to him in your arms and your faces were only inches apart.
"Put me down. I want to know how it feels like to run. How it feels like to run and be away from the world for a while. Put me down. Please."
You put him down. He sighed in relief and pumped his fists up.
"Let's go," he said, now with a smile.
It was cold. Snow was falling, painstakingly dressing the leafless trees with a dash of white. It was terribly cold and yet, you were running. But this time, you weren't alone.
