So I'm using this recipe:
http://www.nokneadbread.org/olive-noknead-bread.html Except that I've modified it slightly.
For one thing, I don't have 1½ cups of olives. I have 1 cup. That's all the jar held!
As well, I screwed up pouring the water in and put in 2 cups, instead of 1½. Oops. So I added 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary. Apparently that's equal to 3 tablespoons fresh!
I will unscrew the knob from my Le Creuset because of various comments I've seen around. Better safe than sorry! I will look for a stainless steel knob later.
When will it be baked? We will see...
I covered it in plastic wrap with a little bit of room for venting and it is sitting on the counter.
I'm thinking about adding a brushing of olive oil, but not right now.
So, 400 grams or about 3 cups of all-purpose flour (I'm using up my flour!), 500 mL or just over 2 cups of water, 3/4 teaspoons of yeast, 1 cup chopped olives and 1 tablespoon of dried rosemary.
We will hope for the best. Especially since some of the ingredients are kind of old.
It does smell yeasty, so it's alive!
