Tired
I've been napping a bit lately. Possibly it's going to bed late, but it might be more. Hard to say, so I guess I should make an appointment for soon. I have this mild headache in my right sinus.
We got a new cabinet. It was $1000 off! This was because it was the floor model and the last one they had. Getting it home was a bit of a hassle, since we don't have a car and we forgot to ask a friend for help. It got a little bumped. It's pretty much what I was looking for, with a glass door. Now we have somewhere to put our fancy glassware!
I bought some tops at Banana Republic this weekend. Three of them are silk, but they are hand wash, not dry clean only. I should have gone for new jeans at Old Navy or something, but I forgot and I ran out of time before my glass blowing lesson. The Gap has annoyed me ever since they moved their jeans section. I can't figure out where the short jeans went!
We're not too affected by the economic meltdown, other than stocks being unhappy, but we are a little tight because of other financial issues, like paying rent and mortgage simultaneously. I've been cooking and making lunch for my husband to try and save.
I love coffee. Mmm. Getting Christmas gifts is interesting. I saw a down vest that I think would be good for my mother, and of course my sister is the easiest ever. Others are quite a but trickier. Also, there's a little drama going on, so I'm not sure who's going to show up exactly. Wow, first Christmas in our own condo! We haven't decided on a moving date, so it may or may not be furnished.
I will so miss this coffee shop. The people are great, both the staff and the customers, and of course the coffee is divine. If they stayed open later, I'd practically live here.
I seem to be keeping off the weight that I lost with shingles. This is good, but most of my pants don't quite fit anymore. Yet I can't bring myself to go pants shopping. I've already gone shopping for clothes this month. Hrm. Damn, I've got a Macy's coupon that I should use today. Hrm. Well, we'll see.
The weather's been pretty nice lately. Clear skies, brisk winds. Soon it will be back to snow and slush. Hope the beer's improved since we've been gone.
