So I got my grades for the semester and I'm pretty darn happy. I got 3 A+, one A and one B. I'm especially proud of the B cause I thought I was gonna totally fail that course with all the issues I was having.
Now I'm at home for Christmas. I'm missing the cats. Stormie is hanging out at the house in Vancouver with Emily coming by to check on her and Quigly is boarding at a local vet.
I'm going to try and make more of an effort to post here (ya ya we've heard that before). One of the reasons though is cause I cannot for the life of me remember what I got for Christmas last year. I was hoping I had posted something about it in here and was pretty darn dissappointed to see I hadn't.
People may blame my pot use over these last seven years, but even before then my memory has always been spotty at best. I can memorize facts till kingdom come but memories of my past have always been spotty at best. That's why back in High School and even in University I was always taking pictures and keeping either online or paper journals- cause I need that extra help to recal things and since this has been my longest lasting journal ever (excluding my paper ones) I need to make a bigger effort to record things. This is why I wish Facebook had a way to scroll through just your past status messages because admittedly I've been using that instead of this. But like I said, this is gonna change. I'm gonna at least post here once a month, more if I can help it.
Tonight we're having our traditional Christmas Eve dinner- my Mother's pasta shells. Although I am missing Graeme and Melissa this Christmas, I am glad I don't have to fight Graeme for my share of pasta shells :) Then it's off to bed. Despite being nearly 32 I have a feeling I'll still find it hard to sleep :) Christmas, even when poor, is still my favourite time of year and I'm looking forward to giving gifts :)
Anyway I will post tomorrow with Christmas updates (especially so I won't be mad at myself again) and stay tuned for more consistent posting for anyone who actually still reads this thing :)
Hope everyone out there is having a great Christmas Eve!
