busy little bee
Wheee I got a lot of stuff done today despite waking up with a MASSIVE headache! Blah!
And despite it pouring rain! Oh my god! I am so sick of rain already but I was still in a happy mood today despite it all. I dressed up in my rain pants and super waterproof jacket, wrapped the stuff I needed to mail in plastic to protect them and off I went.
I first visited my fav thrift store but didn't find anything really exciting. Next I popped over to the post office and finally mailed out my Grandma's Christmas scrapbook gift- only 2 months late heh and my latest letter to my penpal in Scotland. Then it was over to London Drugs- I was slightly annoyed they didn't have any cardboard scratching posts since I have bought them there before but I picked up some super strengh advil that was onsale. Then I dropped by the dollar store where I picked up a whack load of valentine cards for some of my fav special people. I also grabbed a new set of measuring cups and spoons since I was missing a few key ones (like a table spoon and a tea spoon). Then my final stop was Thrifty foods where I grabbed a few key items and got cash back to do laundry with.
When I got home I called Emily and invited her over for dinner. I made a lasgaa though I timed it badly and she was forced to sit around waiting for longer then I would have wanted but I got to see some of her vacation pictures so that was cool. While I was waiting for Emily to come over I did laundry and got most of the cards ready to send. When I walked Emily to the bus I mailed them :D
Now I'm just chillaxing till I crash for the night. I just ordered two books off amazon.com for my second cousin for her Birthday since I still really owe her and her boyfriend for helping out during the Mona crisis
Tomorrow is another busy day. Logan and I have therapy in the morning, then I rush back here, pack up my bag and head downtown for two different doctors appointments- one at 2 and the other at 3. I have a sinking suspicion I may have to cab it inbetween the two visits depending on how late the first doctor is (and the first doctor has been VERY late in the past). Then I head over to my parents place for dinner and catching up then its off to my Aunts for a family girls night with my cousins and Mom. PHEW.
Then next week is pretty much as equally busy. I've got a D&D game at my apartment Tuesday night. Wednesday I'm going shopping with the Groomer at work to get the paints for the mural and then there's a staff meeting from 6-8. I think Valentines Day will be the first day I won't have to run around although I'm sure I will.
And people wonder why I like to take little pot vacations, cause it lets you enjoy the tiny amount of none busy time you get just a little bit more heh.
Right now though what I really want are my Sci Fi club books! They said 3-4 weeks and I ordered them back in January. I WANT THEM NOW! Even though I've already read the majority of them, that's the reason I ordered the Jim Butcher ones- cause I love REREADING those stories
Oh shoot I also gotta remember to swing by the library sometime tomorrow and return my late dvd.I really should have returned it today but there was no library close by on my circuit and the rain was just to much to walk all the way there and back.
Hopefully its not raining tomorrow. If its raining as much as it was today I will probably splurge on a taxi to therapy since I don't want Logan to get wet and theres really no way to properly shield his carrier.
