Caitlin's disturbing realization of the evening (or at least last night):
Scissors cutting through animal skin sounds exactly like it does when you use scissors to cut felt.
We had an emergency laceration repair. The dog was okay, but that was all I could think about as I held the dog while the Doctor worked.
Definately going to look at felt in a different way next time I use it for a craft project.
