Upcoming birth celebrations
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL! I'm stuck at work...woot...but that works for me. I've never been a huge New Year partier. I've got some AMAZINGLY GOOD CAKE waiting for me at home, plus cats to cuddle and a bit of holiday greenery to enjoy.
I'm not exagerating about the cake either. For those of you who have known me the longest I am a HUGE cake lover and have tried probably more then most. But this cake, its this chocolate mint thing from Thriftys, is just BEYOND amazing. If you live in BC and get to a Thriftys, BUY ONE! I'm not kidding. Its like pure joy in cake form
So with the new year so comes my birthday. In 14 days I'll be 28- the same age Mom was when I was born...spooky
So this is me making a public plea for my one birthday wish: CARDS!
I can't stress this enough- I LOVE getting physical mail. Cards, even little random notes, anything that someone takes the time to mail me makes my DAY! (on that note though I do owe a few letters- sorry Emily in Ontario and anyone else I've forgotten). So anyway on that note I'm making an honest plea to anyone on my friend's list- if you have the time/money/etc I'd really love a Birthday Card from you. Trust me, I'll cherish it. I keep all the cards people ever send me heh
