Hey I NEEEEED to download songs that are great to sing along to. Like classics, good oldies, power ballads, anything that is good to get behind and sing along with, loudly and badly.

Well I had a quick shuffle through the iTunes playlist and came up with (depending on how old you mean):
No laughing at me. This is kinda like being naked on the internets divulging some of this!

I'd say consider:
-Queen
-Eurythmics
-Classic Madonna
-Bon Jovi
-Talking Heads
-White Stripes (if you swing that way)
-Midnight Oil (ditto)
-Joe Cocker
-10CC - Dreadlock Holiday.
-Alice Cooper - Schools Out for Summer
-Bachman Turner Overdrive (sp?) - You Aint Seen Nothing Yet
-Hunters and Collectors - Holy Grail
-Kiss - I was Made for Lovin You
-I'm Gonna Be - Proclaimers
-Swingers - Counting the Beat
-George Thoroughgood's 1 Burbon 1 Scotch 1 Beer (if you could call that singing)

I find Hair the Musical (I'm out and proud about this one) gets me going too.

Also try anything in the singstar playlist ^_^

On a side note I was distracted by these songs:
Fire Water Burn - Bloodhound Gang. Always makes me think of the Americans entering Baghdad (some soldiers played this over their headset radios).
Devo - as usual.
Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf. Makes me think of the Star Trek movie ^_^
