Look ma I can fly!
Goodness me, I have had a busy day and I’m very proud of myself.
The bathroom light switch broke weeks ago and we haven’t been able to turn the bathroom light off, today I took the initiative and instead of waiting for Simon to do it, I went up to Homebase and bought a new one. On returning home I even fitted it, woo hoo!
On the way there I popped in to Ice Land and bought a chicken for tomorrow’s dinner, chicken, new potatoes and asparagus with a white sauce (home made broccoli and stilton soup for starters), a shoulder of pork which I have cut in to single servings (Simon doe not eat pork) and froze, I even bought some lucky bamboo and a lottery ticket for tonight’s game. Didn’t win the euro millions last night so maybe, fingers crossed and wishing upon the lucky bamboo (see there was some method to my madness there) tonight it might be me!
On the way back I picked up two application forms for membership at Buckingham Bingo, I enjoy Bingo and have decided that rather than coming home and sitting on my arse when Simon is at work I could go and enjoy myself on an evening out, perhaps a good friend would also come with me, you know which good friend I’m looking at don’t you! Don’t you? Yes, you!
Going to watch Walk the line tonight. Have decided I need to do more, and more I will do.

An early Valentine Flower for you all
