Buckle your seat belts, hide your daughters, shoot your sons (Dad!), Tell your friends! This weekend was the most action packed yet!
SATURDAY. Somewhere in the UofA. I was riding my bike to the Student Union in a desperate search for sustenance. People were about scrambling to the stadium for the UofA vs. Washington State game. I had to round a corner, but my velocity was to great, my brain too clouded by hunger. A lone sign pole stood in my way. I wanted to turn, but the pole wasn't about to budge. I closed my eyes, bit my lip, and collided with it. It came across my chest and groin. My legs shot in opposite directions and my pants exploded into thread. Dazed, I got up and was asked if I was alright by a passerby. I stood and said "yy.. yea I'm ok." I rode off a little ways to escape the onlookers. As I sat on the curb drying my tears and waiting through the shock I thought to myself "What an exciting world I live in."
LATER SATURDAY. St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. It was the third day of the Tucson Greek Festival. Todd, Katie, and I saw what we thought was a transvestite. We never found out. We also saw our former chemistry teacher Ms. B-A. As the day wound down I thought to myself "I can't wait for my new adventure."
SUNDAY. Park Place Mall. After seeing Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Todd, Katie, and I made our way to Katie's car. As we approached, I noticed that the rear right tire was flat. Todd and I asked Katie, but she claimed she didn't notice it driving here. Todd and I smelled a rat. Quick to act, we procured the tools to fix the flat. In the parking lot, we got the job done. We then drove home with no further incident. While driving down Broadway with the sun in my eyes I thought to myself "Could life be any more exciting?"
The previous accounts are based on actual events that took place this weekend, even the one about me running into the pole. The jeans I was wearing at the time now have a huge tear in the crotch.
