holy shit, this may be the first real post I've made to the ol' LJ in a long time.
the EP will actually be recorded in the next few weeks. a friend of mine has built a very nice recording studio in his garage, and shit's being put down... I cant wait to get my own place, get my work area set up, and start making more music. I've got an idea to make a cover of a Replacements song... make it really crazy with a hard beat and random samples that match the chords and bass of the original song, and I'm going to sing on it. ya'll didn't know I could sing, did you!?
I went to a got damn crazy party the other night, and videotaped the whole thing.. it's hilarious. really good live hiphop, and boxing in the backyard.. along with other assorted insanity..
hm.. I felt inspired to write a lot of shit into this, and then I realized I really don't like talking about what's going on in my life right now. so there. if nothing else, I'm optimistic (as you can tell from my LJ mood), and I have a feeling that in a couple of months things are going to be good again.
