A tourist in my own town
Today, exaugsted from closing around 1 or 2 in the morning 4 nights in a row, I slept in until 2 in the afternoon.
Finally, convinced by a foot rub to get up..yup, I'm spoiled!
Reluctant to waste my day off, I luxuriated in the bath my lover drew for me (a trippy way to wake up, really), finished watching "Eating Raoul" together, and had a fresh-juiced smoothie I made for us..
And then we went to Griffith Park Observatory! We had lunch in the cafeteria at the top of the mountain overlooking all of LA, then wandered around the building James Dean ran around in "Rebel with a Cause".
I've gotten my tickets for the East Coast marriage of miss siouxie sioux for 290+tax (a steal for memorial day weekend!), now I just have to get my bridesmaid dress--something blue :) Wonder if I can get a Vera Wang on the cheap off of Ebay? hmmmmmmmmmmmm..
Also, my friend Itai is in a band, Baby Stone, with Sly Stone's daughter.. which means i'll probably get to meet Sly soon! hooo-wah.
