dear diary
oh my goodness it's been so so so so so so long since i've had internet access..did ya'll miss me? let's see, some recent highlights..
*I work at a music store/coffeshop in santa monica next to the beach
* saw blue velvet big screen and had david lynch speak to me (1 sentence, but so what!)
* i met a nice boy who holds my hand and kisses the back of my neck and watches both esoteric truffaut films and crappy 70's horror with the same relish..he makes music videos (he took the photo on the 88's cover, did the weird brazillian girls video with the shriners driving around in toy cars)
*met christian slater (but didn't know it, someone else had to point it out after we spoke, hahaha!)
*cut my hair to my shoulders (i'm a rawkah!)..it was done by a girl going to vidal sassoon (ooh la la, barterific!)
*finally found me an apt (downtown by the flower mkt/fashion district, if you kno LA at all)
*went to my first wedding..my boys are all grown up (snif!snif!) nerd weddings: gotta love the rilke quotes..
*jeremy's new band, bellavista is going to be at CMJ showcase opening for we are monsters
*have my first rocknrollhoochiecoo gig next wednesday (at a stadium in long beach)working on head automatica, and the subways among others
*I dropped a girl's hips (remember i wrote about that being done to me at massage school?), I think THAT was as intense for me as it was for her!
I hope life is good, things are lovely here in sunny LA
