Volunteering was wonderful. I ended up working on 35+ women in 2 hours, hardcore!
They were feisty and wonderful..the kind of people I want to be around.
I'm going to go back, once a month if I can.
I walked outside into the biggest protest LA has ever seen
(not counting race riots, i'm assuming)
Leave it to me to accidentally end up iin the middle of a protest..
Today i FINALLY discovered a good pizza place..seriously, pizza SUCKS here!
It's called Brooklyn Pizzahell, yeah..he thought i had an accent, and guessed i was from..austrailia?..errmmm, ??
when i said I just moved up here from the poconos he busted out laughing! He was like..the POconOS?! hahahaha!
he loves me..now he wants to put my picture and my feb 15th protest pin up on the wall..like a celebrity!
oh...
I guess the job would be fine if i get it, right?
Steady income won't prevent me from doing massage, right?
Ideally I'll end up working at a club in the green room, working on bands.
THis is do-able..i hope i hope i hope...
all those people who said: you always have the poconos to fall back on..
they don't know me at all. Unless it's to take care of a loved one, i'll never return except on holiday.
