(no subject)
In answer to the previous entry, where we found out that cantabile has expensive tastes, onlyoot has a dirty mind (no, wait, we knew that already), Joools is suspicious and jonesiexxx is sensible (and knows exactly what onlyoot was thinking), Andrew was carrying a bass speaker/subwoofer (yes, really) to go under his desk. I was surprised at its size but I do not notice it now that it is indeed tucked away. Ahem... Congrats to Jonesie for actually getting somewhat in the right ballpark with her suggestion of a chocolate-covered robot (hmm, chocolate, I shall have to go and eat some)...
In other news, due to family visits I have not seen last night's Doctor Who yet, and due to bandwidth constraints I am having to wait for a repeat tomorrow night - a whole 'nother day!! So I think I'll stay away from most bits of the net today as there's even an article in the Daily Fail Mail...
I have finished reading my Dresden novel - Turn Coat, book eleven, if anyone's following - and am now reading my Buffy graphic novels which Andrew's brother got me for Christmas (and I therefore love him for). I now have left Rumour Has It by Jill Mansell (hi Jill!), which I have been waiting to get for most of the last year, and a lovely novel by Katie Fforde (I love her too!) that I read from the library ages ago, but found in the sales and so am looking forward to re-reading it.
And happy new year to everyone! May this one be better than last year (even if last year was good for you)...
