Ooookay.
'cause Nicole told me I had to tell her about my day and I feel like telling more than just 'Cole (I should call you Coru but then I'd giggle all the time. Nicole-'Cole-Coru...Coru would make me think of Corru and I don't want to associate you with Corru. xD; Yeah.)
Anyway!
So my mom woke me up some time after nine this morning to tell me that they were going to go out antiquing and stuff so I got up before my 10:30 alarm. A good thing, because Linda called to ask if I was up to babysitting today. She said she hoped she hadn't woken me up and I was all "Uuhm, nono, I'm awake" while thinking "Lucky you?"
So, she asked me to go to the house around 3:20 to be showed around before I babysat for about an hour and a half.
Cameron wanted to go play with Isaac sooner so I called PJ around 11 to ask if Cameron could go play with Isaac. Got a yes but he called back to tell me they had to run to the store first.
Once they got back, a little after 12, I started to walk Cameron over their before I realized that I'd left the stove on (I'd been in the process of making hot chocolate Yes, hot chocolate on a hot day. It was cold in the house when PJ called me back. So I had to run back home with poor Cameron to turn it off before walking Cameron over there.
So, I sat around from about 12:30 until 3:15 when I locked up the house (Starting at around 2:30 I was all "I'm kind of nervous. I've never babysat OTHER people's children") Headed on over while fretting about how Dale was sure to chew himself raw :/
I like that they only live down the street (you turn left out of my cul-de-sac and just walk straight down to the house).
Anyway, got there. PJ showed me around, we went down stairs and I was immediately hugged by Cameron (: It was sweet, my mind went 'AwwwIloveyoutoo' as I tried to focus on what PJ was telling me about not letting the boys near the downstairs sliding doors (Something wrong with the glass. Broken and weak so they can't go near it.)
Anyway, he was about to leave when the icecream man came so he gave them money and they went to get icecream from the icecream man. So then we all went and sat in the kitchen. Yadayada.
They finished and went to 'play cribage' (They didn't use the cards, just rolled the die and moved their pieces. Lmao). Then...it got a little problematic? Isaac and Noah don't get along very well and Noah is VERY loud. He likes to yell and be obnoxious. So Cameron had gone to lay on the couch to rest and Noah went over and started going "NAAANAAANAANAAA" really loudly and wouldn't stop. So Isaac went over and but his hands on Noah's neck...so I made him stop but then Noah went to do it to Isaac and I told him to stop. Isaac was all "It doesnt even hurt!" to which I told him I didn't care, it was still bad and I still wasn't going to let him do it.
So then they decided to go outside. Isaac wanted to go out front but I was too worried about Noah (who is harder to control) running in to the street and not listening to me so I told them we were going out back. So we all went out back (after I struggled to get Noah to listen to me and put his shoes on on the deck and not at the front door because they aren't allowed to wear shoes on the carpet). So outside, Isaac was kind of picking on Noah so I took some time getting that to stop before they pretty much left each other alone. Main problem OUTside was getting them to stop playing with the blow-up pool that their dad told me they couldn't mess around with. They kept throwing stuff in there and whatnot.
Noah was being cute. He would pick long strands of grass/weeds and come to me explaining what kind of robots they were or telling me that he'd killed the robots. He called me the Evil Queen and told me he'd smoked my castle and killed my robots? Cameron was playing around with a foam rocket-gun thing until Isaac and Noah stole the foam rockets and ran around to keep them away from Cameron. Cameron got pretty upset about them (it was rather mean) so I had to calm him down and get them to stop it. Finally got them to agree to take turns and they pretending to shoot invisible enemies with it.
(At some point earlier, Cameron had shot a rocket in to a box next to the glass doors they weren't allowed near. I'm REALLY glad I didn't let Cam retrieve the rocket because when I went and got it, I realized the box was full of dirt and broken glass. Noah got frustrated with me when he kicked over the sprinkler and I tried to stake it back in the ground. He was all "NOOOO! THAT'S AN EVIL CANNON! LEAVE IT OUT! IT'S A CANNON!" so I put it back on its side on the ground.
Eventually, we went back inside, they had otterpops, they talked about the word 'dude'. Isaac said that cool people said 'dude' and I was all "Not ONLY cool people and it isn't just for guys these days". So Isaac called me Sister-Dude. xD; Anyway, we then went in to the living room where they attempted to make forts and failed. Cleaned that up and went downstairs. Downstairs, they played a sponge-bob game...while I listened to music to make the time pass faster. They have this clock down there that I want. It's a normal hands-clock, white face, black text. But all the numbers are piled down at the bottom left and across the middle of the face it says "Whatever!" I love it to pieces.
OH
PICTURE!
THAT. xD; Isn't it amazing?!
It's hot. I love it.
Also down there, near the bathroom, is one of those pictures you can find in Pike Place of Seattle submerged in water. It's got the Spaceneedle's top jutting out of the water with some other buildings doing the same in the background. It's neat. I told my mom and she said she hates those pictures because she finds them depressing. xD;
Anyway, the only mentionable thing that happened downstairs was that Isaac did something that was apparently cool on the Tamponbob(THERE YOU GO MY LAVE) game and Cameron was all "Whoa, COOL! I love you Isaac!" I giggled and Isaac was all "You said you loved me!" and I was all "You're silly Cameron". Isaac was all "I'll KISS you Cameron!" and I said "You don't want to do that" to which Isaac told me "It's okay to kiss people though. I love you, Cameron!" xD; The subject was dropped for a few minutes until Cameron sat down to play and did something 'cool'. Isaac was all "I'm gonna kiss youuuu!" And Noah started saying it and they (sitting on either side of Cam) started to lean over to kiss him and I was all "Hey now, let's not" xD; Cause...well...I dunno what their parents would say...So I didn't think it was a great idea to let them kiss Cameron.
Anyway, total of 3 hours of babysitting (was supposed to be one and a half) because on nice days they open the outside area at Anthony's and people just kept coming. Linda was working alone out there so she was stuck working overtime. My learnings today...Best way to get Noah (AHAHAHAHA. I just type Nao. Oh God) to stop something is to say "Do I need to send you to your room, Noah?" He would say no and stop misbehaving. And then Isaac will say things (Like 'that sucks' and 'that's stupid' and Cam would go 'That's bad to say!' and Isaac would ask if I would tell his parents to which I'd tell him no, so long as he didn't say it again).
Oh...Somewhere between Forts and Tamponbob, we went in to the closet under the stairs where they played with a little purple kitchen set...Isaac had this little bending figurine and he said he loved it...then was all, to Cam, "Don't laugh or we aren't friends! Not make fun of me or we aren't friends! Don't tell anyone or we aren't friends! But seriously, I love this guy." xD; It was funny. They then turned off the light in there and lie down to play with this little kiddie projector. Cameron kept bumping his head on the ceiling. I stood at the door in singing with my music (only had one headphone on) listening in case Linda came home while we were in there). Noah kept asking what I was listening to.
Anyway. $5 an hour. $15 in total today, so no complaints on the extra time I had to babysit. Cameron's tired from 6 straight hours of playing with them. Went home, went out to eat with the parents...That's about it. :D
There you go, Nicole. That was my day.
We Love You,
MaSa.
