What fandoms do you usually icon?
• Cassie - Prince of Tennis, Hetalia
• Ran - BLEACH, Epik High
• Megz - Digimon, Gundam Seed, Disney
• Nad - Fashion, Utada Hikaru, Harry Potter
• Mary - Dong Bang Shin Ki, K-fashion
What made you come together to make a community?
Megz made a post in her journal saying that she liked the idea of having a shared graphic community inspired by the girls at fukikomu and recruited people. Ran, Megan, Cassie, Nad and Mary joined forces and BAM -- sakusei (July 12, 2006)! Sakusei has been standing for two years.
How did you guys get the name?
We wanted a Japanese name to reflect our community. On the judgement of a poll, Sakusei ; さくせい meaning to create was chosen.
Since when have you girls started graphic making?
Ran: April 2005.
Megz: 2005. She was inspired by Bianca (estrella_blanca) and got PS 7.0 from her dad.
Cassie: 2005.
Nad: 2005. Got PS Elements 3.0 from her dad.
Mary: End of summer 2005
Can we affiliate?
Of course! Please request to do so here and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Can we be sister communities?
Sorry but that title has a great meaning behind it and is only gained through special circumstances. ^_^;
Can I request a graphic?
Naturally, we do not accept requests unless on a request post. These usually pop out during special occassions such as the winter holidays and kiribans.
Is credit necessary?
• Cassie - Yes
• Ran - Credit is loved and preferred.
• Megz - Yes
• Nad - Yes
• Mary - Optional, but preferred.
What are the benefits of watching?
You can find out when Sakusei is updated. It's very convenient if you like our work.
