Damn, damn, damn
I hate it when you read a story for a show or game you're not familiar with, and think "Hey, that was pretty good, maybe I should check out that show/game/movie/whatever." And then, when you DO and you get really interested you can't FIND the damn story that started the whole thing off again.
Which is to say that, having finished KH2 I have now moved on to Magna Carta, and SOMEONE out there wrote a very good pre-game fic about Calintz and the General a couple of months ago, and I CAN'T REMEMBER WHO IT WAS...

(You know, there was a time when I would take a few weeks out in-between finishing a game and starting a new one to do other stuff. But then I looked at the DVDs I could watch and the books I could read and kind of went "meh".)
(Of course, I did read more-or-less the entire Temeraire trilogy in-between the two games, but considering that only took me something like three days, I don't think it counts. And anyway, that was less "taking time out to read" and more "oh, there's that book I've heard about. I'll give it a go... *ten pages in* MUST DEVOUR ENTIRE SERIES WHOLE GIMME!!!")
