ooooo.... i know where i.d love to move if i have the chance...

along highway 58 running towards las vegas. there is a series of little towns. mojave. tehachapi.boron. then along 14 there is rosamund (i.d move there because of the cool beans name) and lancaster, where boeing is located.

and i was so happy on my vacation to boron.

for the most part, it was quiet and lonely. we were basically alone. in the middle of the the desert along an abandoned stretch between mojave and barstow. along the hill you could see the air force research laboratory and then we drove through edwards air force base and between the gates and main base (there's about fifteen miles between the welcome signage and main gate to main base).

it was beautiful. lonely. sandy. windy. and along the road to main base, there were all those acme-type signs like wiley e. coyote sees when he.s about to fall off the cliff...

attention! you safety is important to me.

edwards air force base strictly enforces speed limits.

it's a looooooooooong walk from here to the main gates. thank you!-Maj. General Pearson

If you.ve been drinking.

And you haven't been caught.

You soon will be. -EAFB

great laughs from those. that major general is funneee

and at night when i went out to get my stuff from our truck, you could see every star and the cloudness of the milky way.

you could actually see the milky way.

southern california might get hot during the summer, but fall and winter in boron/lancaster/tehachapi/
mojave isn.t that bad. the tehachapi mountains were beautiful. the grass and the trees had just started to change color. it was beautiful.

shit. i.d go to UCLA if i had the time and drive out to boron for the hell of it on the weekends. friendly little town and i now know someone i can stay with if i feel like it. a nice spanish dude named cisco whose favorite and most famous saying is mi casa es su casa or something like that. je ne parle pas espangol.

yeah. a nice little shack on the outskirts of boron. (or petticoats s.v.p.). i would truly be happy there.
