Here and getting ready...
No, I don't have another trip to get ready for but I am getting ready for work. YUCK!!!! I have about two weeks to get all my shit together for the new school year. So after much vacation and partying, I've come to the conclusion to start working on my stuff.
CT was cute but rather boring. I was pretty shocked at how early everything closed, being so use to the city putting that aside me and folks ha da good time. We saw historic Mystic, the aquarium, the Pequot Indian Museum and of course Mohegan Sun. Not too many pictures everything was really cute just to roam and look at. I've decided to take my kids here when they are little, because it has a nice place with a slow pace.
Saturday through Sunday took the trip to the Hamptons with my hubby. Very many thanks John, it was very nice and you kept us well fed, which is always a good thing. I always love how things always are fine and then degenerate into usual silliness. I will say no more in the matter. But I will thank John again for the lovely invitation and all the funnies that happen along the way.
After a long discussion with my hubby, I'm thinking of majorly cutting back my convention schedule for next year. Katsu as of now is chopped off the schedule. Its a no-go because I can't take off that Friday and we'll get there too late for the fun. Next is happening like always. And right now the debate is in the air about Expo and Otakon. I have to see how things evolved this next month, so much debate is in the works for me. Sorry guys. I want to try to hit AFO again, I really like the vibe of the convention so that might just happen. As of right now I'm planning on only hitting MangaNext for a day, if I decide to go at all.
I'm not doing this because of money or anything its just my life will get more busy. I have my masters to worry about, plus the future plans that Kenobi and I are planning, and also my family life too a huge crush this summer. Its just something I'm planning on figuring out, when things get decided for sure I will let everyone know. It was a discussion I had with Ken last night and I agreed with a lot of things. Plus when I go to conventions I will probably find myself running off, to do the things I love once again. Panels, seeing guests, video viewing, the works so I might just lessen my costume load. But the costumes will still be in progress...my Gothic Lolita project should be done by Dec/Jan and my ANBUs will be done by Feburary/March. There are more things that I plan so more with those things later. :P
