These are all just some random pictures I've taken over the past few weeks. You all will have to wait for pictures of my actual apartment until I can get it repainted, then can show you before/after! In the meantime, enjoy~.
Piggy in a blanket! ... My cat is so fat, but perfect for squeezing!
A weekend or so ago, _maldorora and I got sucked into the Betta section at Petsmart, and came home with one for each of us. I've never really seen an autumn colored one before, so I HAD to get it, and hers is a super colorful baby one, whose fins are all SPIKY! It's awesome. I think I've decided on naming mine Ochiba (落ち葉, おちば), as it means falling leaves, and that just seems like an appropriate name. ... My other betta, Osama fish Laden, is doing fine, though he had a traumatic accident last week! On Thursday, I woke up to get ready for a job interview, and when I stepped into the kitchen there was water EVERYWHERE. It took me a few minutes to realize that his bowl had CRACKED and all the water had leaked out. ;~; He was lying there still, and I thought he was dead, but upon poking at him with a spoon, I discovered that my initial thoughts were wrong. I got another spoon and had a hell of a time scooping him out with it, but was eventually successful, and now he resides in a larger bowl, that he can't suicide bomb his way out of. >:\
Yesterday afternoon was thunderstormy, but still really nice, as the rain here is very relaxing. I dozed off for a couple of hours after taking these pictures.
This flower is so pretty. The colors remind me of a sunset.
