When I use the "Random Journal" option, almost half of the journals I get are in Russian.

I like Coldplay's new single. I didn't like their last album, but maybe I'll like this one.

Chris Martin vs. Bono + WWJD. Teaser. ;D

I have a crapload of music to get onto my iPod. That's what happens when I watch VH1's "Top 100 Songs of the 1990's." And ( Read more... )

I feel the same way about Coldplay-- X&Y didn't appeal to me, but I really like their new single! Still, I don't think anything can beat Parachutes.

I don't know why people bother releasing things on different dates in different countries; they know it's going to get onto the internet one way or another.

That being said, -cough-, their single is amazing. It's already made the "Top 25 Most Played Songs" thing on my iPod. :B

I don't know about the whole CD, but I have high hopes. What? Just because it's all on the internet doesn't mean I'm going to get the entire CD. I just wanted the single. I shall do my duty to society and pay for it when it comes out in the States. (Ugh. My wallet is getting so light...)

Parachutes was/is/forever will be amazing. Their best work by far.

Seriously! Albums get leaked enough as is, the different release dates just make it that much easier. DX

Yeah, it was on mine too! But then again it was one of the first songs on my laptop so it was pretty easy, haha. (But it had ~15+ plays)

You're a good person, Shi-chan! XD

so true. It's one of my all-time favorite albums ever.

Which is why every band should do what Radiohead did and release their albums online. On the other hand, as much as what Radiohead did amazed me, I secretly love buying CDs and getting the album art and popping the disc into my computer to download it or watch extra DVD footage.

Wait you got a laptop?? When?? :D

The highest played song on my iTunes is "Eleanor Rigby." As much as I love the song, I don't think it deserves that spot - it only got there because I fell asleep with it on repeat. :I

Well, uh, duh. -eyeroll-

Radiohead proved it can work, but they do have a HUGE fanbase.

I wish artists were more concerned about album art! Sarah lent me the Flight of the Conchords CD and the artwork was so cool, I was seriously in awe. Also I would love to design album art as a career haha.

It's my graduation present. :D

Right now mine is "Skateboarding Saves Me Twice" with 20 plays, but on my desktop I think my top song was either Feist's "Past in Present" or M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" which both had around 50 plays.
