Kenshin again!
On a whim, I decided to reread all of the Rurouni Kenshin manga. It'll always be one of my favourites. ♥ And out of nowhere (to me, anyway; I've been way out of the loop), I just found out there's a new Kenshin OVA? o____O Whaa?? Kind of want to see this but Kenshin looks weird to me, lol. Everyone else (in the preview) looks good~ Though it's weird to take it from Misao's point of view... If it's only for part 1, that's not so bad, but it's odd to do it for part 2 as well since she wasn't even, you know, there when all the important stuff with Shishio happened. :T
Lots of other stuff to catch up on but between work and random bouts of eating out getting fat socializing, I've been rather low on time. I actually want overtime because I want more lieu days for next year. :| Between Katsucon (2 days), ColossalCon (2 days), and Youmacon (1 day), I'm already out half of my vacation days for 2012. >___> First world problems, I know. I'll try to do a general catch up later this week. I never meant to neglect my poor journal but it's been equal-opportunity neglect between real life, LJ, and Facebook (I've always neglected Twitter so can't include that here, haha). The only thing that's really changed in the past while was that I was "promoted" to senior. Promoted really means more work and more responsibility for a slight increase. And considering how often people on my team are away (and I'm not), it's even better for the team as a whole. :p Still nervous about signing off stuff, though. That's my name on that stuff! (Well, it was always there as needed but it's like a different level of whose-fault-is-this, lol.)
Also, Katsucon hotel and flights have been booked! It's a shame so few people are going to that. Still need to book the shuttle bus from the airport and then we're all set to go~~! We have 4 going so far but it'd be cool to have another 4 joining us. (That shuttle can fit 10!) ;p
