FMA: the end (also Summerlicious!)
The icon doesn't actually fit my mood or anything. It's just the only FMA icon I have left since I lost a chunk of icon space a few months ago.
To celebrate the end of the series, I bought and ate some nummy apple pie. Had to walk over to Metro to get it since Loblaws apparently sells really unappetizing-looking pies. Not going to say anything remotely spoilerific about the ending except that I'm really happy with it and the series as a whole. It's been an amazing 9 years. *_* I still can't believe she had a child and didn't take any breaks at all during her pregnancy! Arakawa is full of amazingness and I'm a little sad that I won't have this series to look forward to every month anymore. On the plus side, my wallet's happy that there's one less series to buy. X3 I'm kind of hoping the last volume is a limited edition one. I'm actually quite behind on manga ordering since I got a little distracted by LEGO. *laughs*
When the last chapter is scanslated, I'm going to do a total reread of the entire series. At least it may be a faster read than Anatolia Story. 28 volumes! I couldn't stop reading it! Just plowed right through it and enjoyed it very much. I'd totally cosplay from it if Yuri's hairstyle didn't look silly on me. ...and if their way of dress wasn't so far off from what I usually prefer to wear. Though these nightly manga reads are really putting a crimp on my sleep schedule.
My LEGOs are progressing nicely but...still not done. *headdesk* I can't believe I missed some integral, foundation-necessary pieces! DX There is a new set that I'm sincerely looking forward to though it's not out yet, which my wallet is grateful for. I am not a transit otaku, I'm not, I'm not! >_< Oh, well. At least solartempest has a gentlemen's club garage now in case any vehicle needs a-fixing. :p
Also, Summerlicious is already here again! Anyone interested in going? Restaurant list is here, haven't had a chance to look at it yet. It's between July 9th to 25th. I think Saturdays in general are...out. So if on a weekend, probably Sunday (lunch? dinner?) and weekdays that aren't Thursdays and Fridays (Mondays are a little iffy but still doable) for dinner are usually okay for me.
