It's a TARP! A Naruto coloured tarp. :PlelolaJanuary 11 2008, 03:13:53 UTC
The end of your trip sounds like it was a tad scary (and the photos of the "hives" are too D:), but otherwise it sounds like you had a great trip! :3
I went through your photos. I liked your comments on them. It felt like going on a little journey. :3 The subway looks so cool! As does the volcano (you're going to have to explain that one to me one of these days XD). And you got me Tackey and TOKIO~ XD
Nya. I know I've said this a bunch of times, but I'm glad you're back~ ♥
First thing - OMG BUSINESSCLASS?! That totally rocks for 18hour flights and Cathay is one of the nicer airlines out there. Maybe you got one of their newer aircraft for the different cabin arrangements, I heard they were doing upgrades this year. And pager service for noodles in the lounge?! Seriously jealous here =P
HK's mass transit is the best Ive ever been on, and that includes Tokyo. Hang onto your octopus card, it doesn't expire =P
That geneology thing sounds neat, I never knew until recently that there was actually a naming system, thought it was a random thing like western culture. My dad said he actually named me wrong according to the book. (Which incidentally is supposed to be handed down to me as the next generation... oh our family line is doomed)
But sounds like the rest of china/manila adventure was fun or interesting at the least. (Those shopping carts look like you can build a really strong fort out of) Sucks about the unknown allergy but it could have been worse.
I think it's pretty common... at least in HK. My ex-girlfriend was named like that too and apparently her name is weird because of it. I guess the parents have to be extra creative when they get crappy lines from the poem XD;
I'm still going through all the details of your trip but you really saw a lot of things. I lol about the flying chickens and thanks for the Johnny Depp pic. :D I'm sorry to see the rash you got really did look bad. I hope whatever it is that made you sick gets identified soon. Also congrats on the new camera. It looks like all of PBS have somewhat similar cameras. XD
P.S. Our food marks are up if you haven't seen it already.

It really was! I was so freaked that I wouldn't be able to leave when I had no idea what was wrong with me. I wanted to be home so bad! DX

We got business class because they were redeemed free tickets. :P Wouldn't be able to afford it normally since it's waaaaaay out of our price range.
Not sure about fun, but the trip was interesting sometimes, to say the least. I just had to make the most of it, twas all~

You're more likely to make use of that place than me. ^_^* Honestly, I don't know when I'll ever go back there.
