Title: Midnight Pleasures
Author: Various Authors
Final Thought: Okay Stuff

Stories by Amanda Ashley, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Maggie Shayne, and Ronda Thompson.

This is an anthology of 4 paranormal romances.

Darkfest by Amanda Ashley is slightly like the Beauty and the Beast tale about a blind peasant girl who goes to live with a dark sorceress for one year when the magic man helps cure her mother from a threatening illness. The two discover that when he changes into a wolf and she touches him she can see through his eyes. When Lord Darkfest finds the ingredients of a potion that can restore her sight he's determined to do it. This puts them on a journey to get the main ingredient... dragons blood.

Phantom Lover is part of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series, although the hero is actually a Dream-Hunter by the name of V'Aidan. Erin McDaniels has been plagued by horrible nightmares but things get more surreal not to mention more erotic when a mysterious and gorgeous stranger comes to her rescue in these nightmares. Her feelings are so intense for this stranger that Erin starts to wonder if this guy is truly a dream or more real. As her dreams/nightmares become more disturbing Erin's co-worker Chrissy suggests she sees a psychologist, who just also happens to be her boyfriend... but is Chrissy and her beau out for Erin's best interest?

Under Her Spell was Maggie Shayne's story and I have to admit... I don't remember a damn thing about it!

A Wulf's Curse by Ronda Thompson is the story of damsel in distress Elise who runs away from home in attempt to get out of an unsavory arranged marriage. She finds herself hiding out in a traveling circus wagon... only to discover the man who calls that particular wagon his home is the circus's Beast Tamer, Sterling Wulf. Big, bad, and scary as he may be, Elise soon discovers a strange attraction to the mysterious man. This story is the first of a series featuring the cursed Wulf brothers.
