Title: Unbecoming Behavior
Author: Stephanie Rowe
Final Thought: Pretty Decent

Shannon McCormick is going through a rough time in here life. She's in danger of loosing her job as the social director of a big law firm, a job her snooty family finds beneath her. If that wasn't embarrassing enough, the new hot-shot lawyer that's just joined the firm, Blaine Hampton, is a complete ass, gorgeous... but a total jerk. When he hooks up with her roommate, even his good looks are unbearable. In her vulnerable state, Shannon is tempted more than once to get back together with her on-again-off-again boyfriend Max. It's a idea she fights with a lot despite her mother not making it any easier, insisting Max come to family functions, like the wedding of her perfect sister. It's at one of these family functions that Shannon courts even more trouble, in the form of her brother's best friend, a man she's had a mad crush on since as long as she can remember.

From the description from the back of the book, I assumed Shannon was going to end up with Blaine. However as the story goes on, it is obvious that the one isn't quite that obvious.
