Perhaps we should start a "People who didn't hate angry!Harry in OotP" club.
Seriously, this is why I have people like you on my flist. You're one of the cool, sane fans. The HP fandom is a scary, scary place. And this book seems to be bringing all of the nutjobs out of the woodwork.
Y'know, I think I agree with you on everything here. PoA is still my baby as well. It's the book that got me addicted to HP. And, after the initial shock wore off, I'm rather happy about Remus/Tonks. I've enjoyed stories about the two, although I still prefer Remus/Sirius. And I think that the two pairings can be compatable with each other.
Besides, I like Tonks. A lot. I like her even more now that I know she had the good sense to fall in love with Remus. (Hell, who can blame her? If he were real, I think I could fall in love with him, and I don't even like boys!) Remus deserves to have something good happen to him for a change. He deserves to have someone who doesn't care about the poverty or the lycanthropy, who can look past that and love him for
