Title: Who Killed Marilyn Monroe?
Author: Liz Evans
Final Thought: Very Enjoyable

Private investigator Grace Smith is hired to find out who murdered Marilyn Monroe... not the famous film star, but a donkey by the same name. During her search for the killer, Grace comes across some startling info that may connect the donkey's killing with the murder of a young prostitute who died at the same time. As she uncovers more and other people associated with the prostitute start showing up dead or maimed, Grace soon finds herself a target.

This is the first book in the PI Grace Smith Investigations series about a English ex-cop turned private investigator. Although it took me awhile to get into it, I enjoyed it by the end. The writing is witty and very very British. Understanding British slang will make it an easier read. While obviously different in many ways, I can actually understand why some people call this "the British Janet Evanovich". Grace does kind of remind me of Stephanie Plum a little bit.

I am now caught up with all my book reviews! It's a MIRACLE!!!
