Title: Undead and Unreturnable
Author: MaryJanice Davidson
Final Thought: Nothing Special

Betsy the Vampire Queen is busy planning her wedding to sexy vampire Eric Sinclair. However pesky ghosts who insist on her help keep bugging her. The latest and most annoying of these spirits is a woman who used to live next door to Betsy's dad. She was a victim of a serial killer who's been lurking around town snatching and killing tall blonde women right from their driveways, prompting the media to call him the Driveway Killer. Betsy, a tall blonde herself isn't scared though, she's immortal! However, her dad's former neighbor wants Betsy to find the bastard who killed her and she's not taking "leave me the hell alone!" for an answer.

This series has gone downhill. The writing has become too childish for my tastes. I don't have a problem with cursing, lord knows that, but Betsy's vulgarity has become increasingly cringe-worthy. I'm torn whether I want to continue reading the remaining / future books. They've become more and more disappointing but at the same time, they are quick and easy reads.
