Title: Bad Boys in Black Tie
Author: Various Authors
Final Thought: Okay

Stories by Lori Foster, Erin McCarthy, and Morgan Leigh.

I got this book for Erin McCarthy's story Miss Extreme Congeniality because it featured two minor character from her book Smart Mouth, Derek's co-workers FBI agents CJ White and Wyatt Maddock. CJ and Wyatt don't have the best working relationship, in fact they appear to loathe each other... at least that seems to be CJ's case. Wyatt doesn't get why she's always been so hostile towards him, he's reluctantly been attracted to her despite her frumpy appearance. He proposes a deal that he'll ask for a transfer out of their office if she agrees to spend one night with him. As outrageous and inappropriate the idea is, she agrees. But will Wyatt keep his end of the bargain? I was hoping more from this story. I don't know what I expected but I think the potential for these characters was kind of wasted here.

The other two stories in the book were pretty forgettable. Good with His Hands by Lori Foster was nothing special involving two best friends deciding to become lovers. Morgan Leigh's Last Call has a woman sleeping with a guy who's hiding the fact that he's the man who's been ignoring her pleas to help save the home she's just inherited from her grandfather. Boy will she be pissed off when she finds out.
