Title: The McKenzie Artifact
Author: Alison Kent
Final Thought: Pretty Good

Eli McKenzie has been working undercover in Mexico to stop a Spectra prostitution ring, but things don't go quite as planned when he mysteriously gets sick and must return to Smithson to recover before he can finish his mission. When he returns to Mexico, there in his way is private investigator and Texas bombshell Stella Banks who's been caught snooping around. Now not only does Eli and his partner Harry van Zandt have to save the young girls who are about to be shipped out to brothels but they must make sure Stella doesn't become yet another victim. To do that, they must expose their true identities to her and all three will have to work together to stop Spectra.

This was another better than average book in the series. I think I enjoyed this just as much as The Beach Alibi. Very suspenseful and sexy.
