I took my life into my own hands and rode my bike to school this afternoon in my quest to discover the time and location of one of my exams this week. I think the best route from my apartment would be north on Church, west on Gerard, north on Elizabeth, west on College, and then north on St. George. Even though these streets (with the exception of Church), all have dedicated bike lanes, it was still a nerve racking eperience to share the road with what seemed at the time like monster trucks x_X I think I'll definitely return to MEC this weekend and invest in a bike helmet, as well as find the neccessary tools with which to adjust the breaks so that they actually serve their intended purpose (imagine that!). I'll have to have Cesar contact the building superintendent about a key to the bike room once she returns from vacation as well.
Well I guess it's about time that I brave the streets of Toronto once more and return home to study for my exams this week... two for linguistics and one for english literature (you'd think I would have read the books by now, wouldn't you?). Cesar has been really good lately so I figure he deserves to have a home-cooked meal ready upon his arrival home later this evening. He and his mother seem to really enjoy the stirfrys I've been making (nothing elaborate, just noodles, some veggies, etc.) but I think I'll opt for egg noodles with some sort of cream sauce to change things up.
Oh, and the Pokemon Trozei Nintendo DS game I purchased off ebay (a great deal if my memory serves me correctly) arrived in the mail this morning! I think fate must love throwing a monkey wrench into my academic progress because I always seem to receive a new DS game at times when I should be devoting myself to monastic-like studying! I guess a few minutes wouldn't hurt, hehe...
