End of Summer
Hi all! Sorry it's been a while.
Let's see. I had a family reunion in August and had a wonderful vacation visiting sister #3 and her family in California early this month.
There is so much good about Man of Steel, it is a pity is flawed. I also loved Austenlaned. I haven't laughed so much at a movie for a long time.
I have started a new class, this time on Philology, which is the study of language through literature. We've already done Gothic and Runic and Old Norse and this week are starting Old English.
I guess you could say I have settled in fairly well into my new place^^;
My current obsession - Toward the Terra. I haven't been affected by an anime like this for a while.
This weekend I am going to a concert - Tchaikovsky and the 1820 Overture this time^^;
Iron Man 3 will be out soon and I am planning on seeing it shortly. Same with From Up on Poppy Hill.
And last night, for the first time in months I wrote more than three pages of notes. Yay!
