Day 11: Who do you think wore the goggles best?
Appearance-wise it would be Daisuke, Takuya and Taiki. Daisuke and Taiki just had the hair to pull it off, and Takuya looked pretty BA with them on his hat.
Leader-wise it would be Takuya. Takuya just naturally feel into the roll of being a leader. A lot of it probably come from the fact that Takuya had an established sibling and older brother personality from day one, unlike Tai whose sister was invented halfway through the season when it continued past 13 episodes.
From the very first episode Takuya just falls into the leader role. Tomoki puts himself into danger almost immediately arriving at the Digital World and Takuya's the one out there risking his life to make sure the group stays save. He's honestly the only one to naturally fall into the leader role at the beginning instead of taking time to realize what being a leader is and to get the group to follow them.
Also it should be noted that if Xros Wars had been written differently Taiki would also have been the best as a leader. He was the most tactical of all the goggleheads, and like Takuya he put his teammates before himself. When Akari simply wanted to go back home after arriving in the Digital World, Taiki tried to fine a way back for her. When Taiki decided he was going back to the Digital World but wasn't going to tell Akari and Zenjirou to protect them, he spent the day doing the things they had wanted to do before they were sucked into the Digital World.
