Three-day post of DOOM!

Aiyaaaaaa, where should I start?
So my brother comes up to me and says he has a friend who now has one eye. He lost his eye in a skateboard accident, and his mother, attempting to keep his remaining eye good, has decided to sell off his video games. So my brother wants to know if I can donate towards a Wii for $200. Now, first off, I am going to b completely broke during AX. I barely have enough to buy gifts for other people (and I’m not getting anything for myself). But aside from that…what the hell kind of story is this, anyway?! Totally suspicious.
Anyway, I’m telling my mom that my brother wants me to invest in a Wii, and she gives me the strangest look. I think, “oh, crap-I said “wii.” She must think it’s something hella weird.”
I tell her it’s the new Nintendo system, stupid name, and so forth. Anyway, I eventually get out of her that what she thought I said was “invest in some weed.”
Me:…if I were buying weed, I wouldn’t buy it through my brother.

At any rate, we get home, and my mom starts messing with the computer again, because my brother is using my computer for a final project, but my CD burner kind of sucks. And she resets the system, so we have to login. Name and password, you know…
Well, our system has been on auto-login for so long that none of us can remember what the password is anymore. We all tried out passwords, variants, ect, and none of them worked.
Finally, we give up. My brother sits down and ends up fixing it. He hit okay, got a page of weird login stuff and hit control alt delete. It reset the computer and logged us back in.
But the Internet still won’t connect to the old computer, and even the wireless is a little iffy. It sucks. I say we just get a new comp, even though I don’t have the money to say that.

A last note: I may have a slight insight into my grandmother’s madness: to note, when I have the fan on high power so I can sleep, she comes in, turns it off (making me very angry) and goes t sleep…with a blanket.
Now, by that point, I was starting to reach for a sheet, because it was a little cool, but this was a fairly thick blanket. Is that why she always turns off my fan, which I consider necessary for my survival?

Warg, I forgot to make my post before I gave up the Internet to my brother. What is there to say about today? Um, for one, I find it very odd when my own mother is involved in relationship drama. It saddens me, because I was hoping to, you know, escape form drama once I hit a certain age.
Internet and battery problems with my computer abound. I dunno why, but my battery will randomly shut itself off. I though it was because the battery was overheating, but…well, it’s not on now, which annoys me, especially when everyone keeps using my laptop. I finally got the main computer working again, but the catch is that we either get the main computer to have Internet or we can have wireless. So, for the time being, I have no Internet. And no battery. What the hell.
On the other hand, I finally got to start my embroidery. I worked hard to trace the patterns, and then my needlepoint broke and I spent a long time trying to glue it back together, or put another piece behind the broken piece to fix it, and may other things. I ended up with glue on my fingers and the table that I can’t get off.
So I re-printed the pictures to make them larger and traced the patterns again, paying better attention to details. I have some pictures of my work so far. This was from about 6 in the evening to 10 while I was watching TV. Oh, and eating. So it wasn’t straight through work. Plus, I had so many tangles in the thread. Yuck. I probably spent at least a quarter of my time unsnagging the thread.

Here’s how it looks now:

And some more detail:

Here’s the one that broke:

Finally, notes for today.
I’m going to graduation tomorrow. Yeah, don’t ask about our weird new system where they get out a week before AX.
A week! Yay!
I have more-or-less decided to try and get myself into shape before next year’s AX, and, because of a fleeting moment of vanity, I think I’m going to try and haggle to get my braces off early. Well, they’re due off around July 7th, so it’s really only a week. On the other hand, the last time they took stuff off my teeth, I was in horrible pain for a couple days. So timing is the key here. I need time to take them off, recover, and probably get my teeth cleaned so they look nice.
I’m also thinking of starting to go to the gym, but it’s probably too expensive for me. I’ll see how that works out. Obviously, I also want to help more with the cosplay.
Oh! I had the most wonderful idea…I kind of want to try embroidering patches. You know, just little things for my backpack and jackets and stuff. So, thinking of that, I conceived of the idea of making us some “MiG cosplay” badges. You know, a standard “Mokona is God,” some picture of Mokona (I was debating between one picture of having everyone choose their favorite Mokona pic) and out names. We could pin them on our clothes and take them off and stuff.

Finally, I have been suffering from scary dreams as of late.
First, I dreamed about being with Rick, going to the beach, doing this and that…and as a result, completely missing everything at AX. It was a nightmare. I was dreaming I missed all the concerts and lost all my money.
After that, I dreamed of being at a Miyavi concert, near the front, but over to the extreme left. I was having a decent time, chatting with people, until I realized that my brand-new memory card was missing and that I was on the completely wrong side to actually see anything.
And finally, I was on a plane as some sort of leader/peer mentor/something for a group of younger kids. Now, here’s the weird part: all of us (I think 12 or do) had summons, like from Final Fantasy. Now, of course I couldn’t have something cool like Shiva. No, I had this huge, flopping fish. It kept flopping around and I had to grab it. Stupid gigantic fish. There was a lot more to that dream I don’t remember. I know there were two planes, and the fish was on the second one. But all I recall of the first ride is that there was a lot of junk on the floor and I spilled more stuff.
