HANA YORI DANGO UPDATE!: CHAPTER 19
Yabu stared at the suitcase in front of him. He swallowed. His eyes were just staring silently at the bag. He stood up. It had been almost three days since he last spoke to JUMP and Akiko. Now he stood silently looking at his bags. Four hours before the flight. The he heard his father’s voice. Yabu’s butler ordered for his bags to be taken down into the limousines. It was as if the whole world was moving slowly. His eyes blinked at a picture of the whole JUMP on the wall. He stared at it so deeply until he saw his own reflection inside. Guilt clenched his heart tightly. He picked up the frame and shattered into a million pieces. Then he pulled out the picture, and stared at JUMP. Tears came into his eyes. But he held them. Holding the picture tightly he then rolled it and stuffed it into his pocket. With that, he took one last look at his room and shut the door.

Akiko brought out some hot drinks. The whole JUMP had been completely silent for the past few days; Yamada had barely spoken to her. However, Inoo seemed very keen on never leaving her lonesome wherever she went. So he helped her to prepare the hot drinks. She pulled out the marshmallows. Inoo took the hot chocolate out to the rest of the boys who were all drained, emotionally. All lay on the varying types of sofa’s in Ryosuke’s grand living room. The snow was still falling outside. Akiko quietly handed everyone drinks. She stared at Yuto and Yamada, both were silently sitting together near the window. Chinen smiled at her…”Arigatou…”
“Un…” she nodded. The atmosphere was too silent. Takaki didn’t even bother to get dressed properly. He lay half dressed in his night clothes on a big sofa. Akiko went over and handed him a drink, before throwing a blanket over him. “At least put on a shirt, it’s freezing…”
Takaki ignored her and just nodded in thanks. As Akiko seated herself onto a sofa, Keito stared at her. “Daijobu?”
“Hai…un… yeah I’m okay…..” She said encouragingly. Akiko sighed. It was a horrible sight to look at. JUMP was literally broken. No matter how they tried to hide it, their faces were drowned in complete sorrow. Nothing seemed important in the world anymore. Akiko herself never bothered to show anything on her face. In truth, she felt like killing herself. Life without having Yabu around, how he’d always appear wherever she was. Or even comfort her. Or eat her Okonomiyaki or rice balls. She avoided showing too much. Takaki looked at the watch. One hour to flight. He sighed. Daiki did the same silently. Akiko stood up. “Don’t worry….. we’ll live…”
Yamada suddenly gave a broken smile. “Un…” he nodded looking at Ryutaro who was cuddled with Hikaru in the corner. Hikaru was patting his head. Ryu was really really upset.

Even though, Ryu had felt his heart so light a few days ago. When he had confessed to Yuto, Yuri and Keito. He remembered their faces so well when he had finished telling them everything. “You’re a scholarship kid?” Keito asked perplexed.
“Un…” Ryutaro nodded silently. “Maybe your grades are just too good ne?” Yuto added smiling. But Ryu just shook his head. “I’m serious Yuto, I have no chauffeurs or limos’ or even a car. I just have a bike and my mom. That’s before Ryosuke came into my life that is. And Akiko.
Yuto held his mouth silently. It was indeed a shock. Yuri stood up. “You know me well Ryu, and I love my pride the most. If you were not Morimoto Ryutaro, but some unknown figure, I would’ve called upon my Yakuza’s to finish you tonight for lying to me.”
Yuto stared at Chinen. Keito came forward...”OOi……. Chi…”
Ryutaro avoided Chinen’s gaze. “However, since you are Morimoto Ryutaro, I’d rather kill myself than to do that to you….”
Yuto nodded and stood up beside Chi. Keito did the same. All three JUMP members looked down on Ryutaro who stared at Chinen confused. “Wakarunai….I don’t get it”
Yuto laughed. “That’s Yakuza language for…I love you no matter what…”
Chinen smiled broadly as Ryu’s face broke into a HUGE HUGE SMILE. Keito laughed “Your family Ryu, nothing can change that…”

Hikaru nodded still patting Ryutaro. Okahsan was sleeping upstairs.
5o minutes to the flight.
Everyone became silent once more.
30 minutes to the flight.
Yamada stood in front of the clock.
20 minutes to flight.
Yuto kept staring.
10 minutes.
Daiki dropped his glass.
5 minutes.
Hikaru managed to calm down Ryutaro.
1 minute,
Akiko held back her tears.
AS the clock ticked 12 am. Jump turned around and sat down silently,
“He’s gone…”
Takaki muttered silently after a long time. Everyone looked up. Akiko broke down. Inoo ran to her, so did Yuri. “Gomen.” She said regaining control and wiped her tears. But then she stopped…….. everybody did. There was a strange sound coming. Akiko looked up and saw her hand phone ringing, she stared at it. She couldn’t answer it. The phone kept buzzing. Ten pairs of eyes were looking at it. The phone fell down onto the floor. It automatically switched to loud speaker.
“AKIKO!! I CAN”T DO THIS!! I can’t GO!! …..I’m at the airport….demo…I can’t understand ne…….I LOVE you....Gomen….Please forgive me…..I love all of them…….I love JUMP…onegai answer the phone….”
Akiko’s eyes widened. That was….Yabu’s voice.
“I LOVE YOU AKIKO!!”
