It had been almost two days since JUMP threw a limp Yamamoto Isoroku onto the floor in the middle of The Grand Dining room of Eitoku Gakuen as a warning to anyone who messes with them. The hooting and cheers from the crowd made the mighty Yamamoto break into tears before the ten rulers of Eitoku Gakuen. These ten were the most powerful and riches kids in the academy. They were either sons of power hungry business lords or once famous pop idols. Some of them were even the heirs of the Japanese Underground. Two or four big bullies in a school might be controllable, but a powerful party of ten was as strong as the great wall. They never walked separately. Perhaps they were of different ages, and studied in different classes and even of different heights. But at Eitoku, they were considered as one team of the most fearsome and wanted boys in school. If they went against someone, the whole school would go against the person as well. The red note was their symbol of warning. Any of their victims ended only in two ways. Either the victim left Eitoku because they were unable to endure the humiliation. Or the victim would be avoided and shunned by the other students for the rest of their lives at Eitoku academy which in the end also resulted in them leaving. Yabu Kota and Takaki Yuya were considered the leaders since they were both the eldest. But still, Takaki would always look at Yabu for orders since he had a strange aura around him. He was rational and therefore preferred by most as the leader. Takaki Yuya however was a complete playboy. Him and his loyal companion Inoo Kei. Arioka Daiki however was more of a sporty boy. He was more into sports but that did not mean he was a complete saint. Hikaru Yaotome was the bright light in this gang. He would often cheer his mates or light up the darkness in them. He kept them up and lively. Even though he was the son of one of Japan’s most powerful underground Leader. He himself was very actively involved with the mafia. So naturally his punch would be the most painful. These five were known as the older JUMP boys and ruled the senior side of the school. They had the habit of wearing black. The five younger ones wore white and usually dressed alike. They ruled the Junior high in Eitoku. Keito Okomoto and Yuto Nakajima were known as life long friends. They were not just neighbors, but excellent in Karate. So naturally you would not approach them. As for Chinen Yuri, he was the most favorite amongst the girls of Eitoku junior and senior. He was a remarkable flirt and was often referred to as “Bishoujo Magnet” the name given to him by Ryutaro. Morimoto Ryutaro was the youngest of the JUMP members. He was slick; he was clever, and very studious. He was often seen at the library or in odd lonely places where he could be in peace with his books. However, Etikou’s girls would never fail to find his hiding place. Then there was Yamada Ryosuke the most mysterious member of JUMP. Only known for his serious behavior and sometimes uncontrollable temper, he remained silent most of the time and seldom spoke. He preferred to listen. People were most fearful of his glare. Many called it the “death glare”. It was meant to keep people away. He was a complete loner and preferred not to be bothered by anyone but the JUMP members. These ten boys ruled over Eitoku. No one ever dared o be in their way. People would scatter when JUMP’s footsteps echoed in the walls of Eitoku Gakuen. Their unity was also strength. They never left each other fought beside one another. Together, these boys had the strength equivalent to the Great Wall and they planned to keep it that way. Little did they know things were about to change in Eitoku Gakuen.

The limping figure on the floor looked up at Hikaru’s face. The crowd continued to cheer JUMP on. Kentaro held his bruised arms to himself. He could not bear to lookup. Then there was silence as Yabu made his way to him. The final signal. The sign to prove JUMP’s enthusiastic victory was in Yabu’s finger. He stood over Kentaro and held his right hand towards him. His first finger and thumb were pointing out in a gun shape. His technique of ending the game. He pointed at Kentaro’s weeping face. The crowd held their breath. There was complete silence. All were waiting for that one word. With his finger pointing straight at Kentaro’s eyes, Yabu muttered “Dead”. The crowd roared into applauds and cheers for Jump as they backed off and slowly made their way back up the stairs to their private lounge. Yamada was in the lead, eager to sit down and rest. Down there, the crowd parted eyeing Kentaro with extreme revulsion. Kentaro looked up at his girlfriend expecting to receive some sympathy. However, she ignored him as much as anyone else. In fact she ran to and praised Takaki for his bravery and strength. Only one girl was still staring at this pathetic figure on the floor. She really wanted to go and help but was not in the mood to get involved. She preferred staying hidden. Reluctantly, Hisa Akiko pushed her straight and messy black hair back and put her glasses on. She went and found a lonely place to sit and covered her face in her arms. She hated Eitoku but never voiced this out to her parents. They had worked hard just to put her in this dream school and wanted her to become a successful person in life. But Akiko could never fit in. She was a ‘SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT’ as some of the girls taunted her. In the world, the title SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT was one of great pride and joy and usually the owner of such a title would be honored. However, here at Eitoku Gakuen, the concept of earning a ‘discount’ because of unaffordable school fees was just a ridiculous joke. Well that’s what Mai, Kei and Kyoko told her. These annoying triplets had made Akiko’s life hell in Eitoku. Since then, she had decided to just shut up and survive torment until she graduated. She loathed the JUMP boys as well. “Bullying for the sake of entertainment, what nonsense.” She would think whenever anyone received a red note. But she had nothing to do with it, so she just wanted to ignore it. Well that’s what she thought. How wrong she was…
Akiko did not have many friends at school, however a goofy guy named Nitobe had befriended her. He was a very amiable fellow and had friends and enemies both for that very behavior. He thought Hisa was just being shy and decided to be friends with her. He was wrong but Akiko had no intention of hurting him, so she just played along. Soon, she became quite fond of this friend of hers. And that is how she got herself the shock she never thought she would get. A horrible gift from Eitoku which changed her life at this academy completely.
