CHAPTER 17: CINDERELLA BOYs..
The boys gathered round the table. Yabu stared. “Okay...” All the boys stared eagerly. Chinen was looking so hopeful. FINALLY! A plan to leave this horrid place! Ryutaro himself sat silently paying good attention. Only Ryosuke seemed lost in some vague visions but he quickly snapped out of it as HIkaru’s voice came from behind him. “A plan I’m guessing?”
YAbu nodded. Opened his mouth. Then closed it.
Takaki stared.
“You have a plan don’t you?”
“OF course......I...well....”
“You have no plan....”
“I DO!!!”
“You have no plan...”
“Fine...its more of an idea, how bout we go to the ball?”
KEito raised his eyebrows. “IN what, towels?”
INoo suddenly closed his eyes and imagined. Ten boys in masks turning up at the ball draped in ONSEN towels. “That’s cool man.....”
KEito nodded as Yuto chuckled. YAbu’s eyes became small and they all silenced. “NO! Of course not, its considerable but no.....”
“SO basically we want to take Hana to the ball right?” Daiki asked. “So she meets up with JUN, gets married, has kids, and is so thankful to us she names ten of them after us, lives happily ever after and we become proud heroes and then......something like that? “ Daiki voiced as INoo clutched his heart from behind and fell into HIkaru’s arms who refused to cradle him, allowing him to THUD on the floor.
Yabu stared. “Dai chan, you think too far...and what if she has girls?” he said sarcastically hoping that someone would come up with something better.
Daiki imagined. Ten girls. Yabuko, Hikari, Daiko,............. wait this don’t make sense. “OH there’s always YURI....” Yamada said only to get a very angry stare.....from Chinen.
Ryu looked up. “I have an idea...”
Everyone stared. “You do?”
“Yeah, we can innovate our uniforms make them look nice like our staff used to do backstage with clothes when we have to change fast? And then we can accompany Hana to the Ball, and if anything happens, we can put the ONSEN towels for plan B to cause a stir, then we can escape allowing HAna to elope, then we ask JUN to drop us off on the station, and take the first train back to TOKYO which leaves in the morning right? How does that sound?”
Daiki stared. “I like my ending better.....but that is a good plan...”
All the ten boys stood up. YAbu smiled. “Inoo go get HANA....”
INoo nodded and rushed out. “YOSH MINNA! GET yourself ready!GO!” Yabu said and the boys scattered.
Chinen rushed to cut off his collars, as Yamada ripped off the sleeves. Inoo and HIkaru ran with a confused Hana into the dining room. Hana looked at them. Hyori and Yuki came along. So did Kitty which lit Ryu’s face quite a bit making Takaki and Hikaru chuckle. Hana started. “Ano....”
“Shhh..” INoo whispered. “I promise, everything will be okay....”
Hana stared. Then her confused face broke into a smile. Ryu smiled as he tied his blazer buttons with strings. Hana rushed her hands over Daiki’s shirt as Inoo stitched her skirt. IT was quite a mess. But there was too much laughter in the air. Especially when Yuto was made to be the model in place of Hana for her dress. Yuki helped Ryosuke fix his belt, and HYori ran from one side to another holding a bunch of needles and buttons. They had brought “EMERGENCY SUPPLIES” along knowing the true story of HAna, which Inoo told them.. But after a tiresome day, as dusk came, everyone fell in a circle in the main room. Their clothes were neatly hooked in order on the walls.
HAna closed her eyes. She felt great. She never had so many friends. In fact she barely had any, except for the animals in the barn.
“Arigatou..” she whispered. YAbu smiled beside her on the floor. Daiki grabbed her shoulders. “Don’t thank us just yet, but you can name your kids after us ne...ITAI!” he mouthed as HIkaru smacked him on the head as HAna’s eyes widened. “EH?”
Chinen nodded. Hyori beside him did too. “Let’s do our best tomorrow night ne?”
All of them smiled hopefully. HAna nodded. But as night got late, 13 people snored so loudly, that even the horses decided to stay awake. There was something about the moon. Like the next time it would come out, it would bring a great deal of unbelievable miracles...trust me....you won’t believe it.....!
