I just read it in a flash, so I couldn't put more detail. Please beware of spoiler... Basically, in the next installment, it is revealed that Sakurako is actually a boy. Thus, the writer going on abt how Watase-sensei has actually put hints on Sakurako's gender throughout the previous chapters (Sakurako bathing assisted by Katou, her/his words when she said Souma has taken everything away from him/her, etc). The writer also mentioned how the current Saeki-hakushaku looks so bad in this chapter, abt. how characters of significant roles have ended up dead right before the last chapter, and speculating that perhaps, the last chapter would have a Souma dead ending, or Souma and Masataka both lived, and questioning how they should live after that. I like the opinion that by the end of the story, altho Masataka couldn't forgive what Souma has done, but he decide to face the latter up front as fellow human being ^^;;

it's till then end (so mad!!!) and I feel that the end will be sad (for souma...). Like greatspid said, we know that Masataka is alive thanks to the narative perspective (but he will be sad too)
