my zen...

its been almost 4 months since we moved to our new home. 4 months of adventures and misadventures. looking back during the time we first moved in, it really brings a smile to my face remembering those adventures and misadventures we had.

after moving in, we had to clean, clean, clean as in let me stress the word again, clean the house... me being a neat freak, this is my time to really really call the shots in my own crib ^_^ so yes, clean, clean and clean some more... heck, if the walls can gleam, it would! lol

my son is the most excited of us when we moved in. why? coz he now has his own room! we decorated his room with his favorite anime posters and he also now has a place where to put all his toys =) he sure is one happy kid.

ah yes... the first week in the new home. we had no gas for the stove... nada, none. why? i got the wrong regulator, it doesnt fit the gas tank that i am using >_< so for one week its rice and canned goods! but when we eat, we were laughing over our misadventures. there was also one time when the door in my room got locked from the inside and i had to do a 'mc gyver' just to have it opened without calling the keymaster, oh dear... oh! theres also another instance when we ran out of water and i had to buy asap [we still have no water supply in the village, but the good news is, we will now be connected to the main water supply, yippeee!]

the design theme of our home is modern japanese/zen and yeah, first it was so minimal coz we did not have a sofa set! now we have a sofa-bed wherein my mom sleeps whenever she visits ^_^ i still have some knick-knacks to complete like that divider thingy coz i dont want the dining area to be seen from the main door... a small chest for me.. yeah, there are things that i need to complete still but i know i will in time. ^_^

now on our 4th month, all i can say is that the move is worth it. my place isnt that big or glamorous, the neighborhood is peaceful, my son is happy. as my dad would always tell me, 'home is where the heart is'

...i am now home.
