I have jumped onto the bandwagon that is the Friending Meme! Even though the theme is ARIA, you don't need to know the series to participate :D Everyone is welcome! XD
≈ Name ≈ Kibou :D ≈ Age ≈ 16 ≈ Gender ≈ Female ≈ Zodiac sign(s) ≈ Horse + Taurus~ ≈ Other Fandoms ≈ Kdramas, Lee Jun Ki, Yakitate!! Japan, Chrno Crusade, CCS, Chobits, Super Smash Brothers, Tetris, Pokemon, Tales of..., Dr. Mario, ayumi hamasaki, Koda Kumi. :D ≈ Favourite Activities ≈ Iconing, procrasinating, reading, learning languages. ≈ Favourite ARIA character(s)? ≈ Alicia and Alice~ XD ≈ How were you introduced to ARIA? ≈ My friend bought Volume 1 for my birthday when I was 14 and I've been addicted ever since! ≈ Say one random thing about yourself! ≈ I like peanut butter...♥
YES I own it (literally). XD I actually don't like it as much as some other dramas (STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN), but whomg, I love the main actors~ XD The girl is really pretty and the guy is really cute XDD~ but they didn't seem to have that much chemistry together DDDD:
Waugh! I am so jealous! I only was able to see it on TV, but the channel they showed it on apparently no longer exists on Comcast (right when they were showing the second round of the MARS drama ;_________; ). The guy is so hot. Omg. I want to do naughty things to him.... :X I agree... they coulda acted a little more "in love" or whatever. >.<
OMG MARS Drama! *o* The Taiwanese one, right? I really want to watch that! T__T I read the manga and it was simply amazing, and you know...I want more! XD *greedy*
I don't get Japanese + Taiwanese dramas on TV here ;_; Only the occasional Korean drama and the very frequent Cantonese drama :O I had to buy Winter Sonata and get my friends to download and burn other dramas :( You're really lucky! XD
Yeah, the Taiwanese one. I had read that some people didn't like it, but I thought what little I saw of it was good.... Dude, if you get AZN, though, keep an eye on it. They cycle through really random dramas (Korean, Chinese (I think Taiwanese and Mandarin, but I honestly can't identify them reliably, which is terrible D: ), Japanese, and Indian), which was how I found out about the MARS one. Admittedly, I only got to see the first and last episodes in their entirety, but waugh!
I saw it for sale on a site that specialized in selling TV box sets... I should save up for it. >.>
Eee! Now I'm excited and all friended you back and such. <3
Aww :( I hate it when i can't see the whole series full or in order. ;__; Maybe you can find it for download on the net D: The interweb has everything, I swear! XDD
Oooh, box set selling :O I have like 4 box sets myself and they are pretty good~ Very cheap too, but that's because I got it in Hong Kong x__x I saw an exact same box for sale here and it was $53 Canadian when I got the same for like $8 Canadian in HK. .__.! I still think downloading/watching on Youtube would be cheapest though, but if you can't find it, it would REALLY suck ;_;
If I still talked to some of my friends from high school really frequently, I'd coherce them into getting me some DVD sets next time they go on an annual shopping trip to Hong Kong. Ho man, that'd be so awesome.... the only ones they have on YouTube are in a language I cannot read (nor remember what it was, apparently), sadly. ;_;
Hehe, yes XD; *is a loser XD* I collect buy dictionaries of languages I am/want to study(ing) too, because you know, I love them! ♥
Besides English (lol), I study Cantonese (well, it's more studying like in terms of English class, because I'm taught in Cantonese, not English like the other languages), Japanese, and Italian.
I really want to learn Korean and German though *o* I resolve to work on the Korean alphabet system in my spare time, but I never do so! So dang lazy T__T
I have a few dictionaries I haven't used in ages, Polish for example. But it's a nice decoration element. *has tons of Langenscheidt dictionaries*
That's a nice combination (Btw: Where are you from?). I want to study Japanese, too. I started to learn Hiragana and Katakana, but I'm too lazy to learn effectively on my own (mainly when it comes to languages).
Hah, the same problem; I'm not alone. ¦D If you're curious about a German phrase or need a translation or whatever, talk to me. I'm German and take pride in my almost perfect spelling and grammar XD (the only thing I'm not so good at are comma rules).
Hm, I think the only dictionary that I haven't used in a long time is my French-English one. XD I used to take a mandatory French course at school, which is why I had it. But yes! They are a nice decoration element indeed. I love books/media in print. x3
Oh, I was born in Hong Kong, but now I live in Canada. :] I used to study Japanese myself by borrowing language kits from the library, then I got a dictionary and learnt the Hiragana + Katakana. I was pretty lazy too, but when I came across some raw manga, I was like, I MUST LEARN THEM LETTERS SO I CAN READ IT. And so I did. XD Hurrah for motivation from manga! \o/
Oh wow, thanks so much for the offer! *o* I'll surely take you up on that in the future! XD~
