4th Drabble
“Today our class will going on a trip to the National Zoo. I hope that all the students will stick together with their partner and don’t go anywhere alone. You can find your partner by yourself,” said the teacher to her elementary students.
“Ne Yama-chan, do you want to be my partner?” asked Daiki, as he saw no one wanted to be paired with Yamada.
“En~ thank you Dai-chan,” replied Yamada.
“Iie…Yama-chan is my best friend, of course I will be your partner,” answered Daiki, smiling.
“Ne Dai-chan…what do you want to see the most at the zoo?”
“I want to see penguins,” he responded.
“Why penguins?” asked Yamada.
“Because they are cute and I guess our cheeks are pretty similar with their’s.”
“Do they have cheeks?”
“I don’t know…but I want to see them,” replied Daiki excitedly.
“Dai-chan…you are given choices between my cheeks and the penguins’ cheeks. Which one will you choose?” asked Yamada. His well padded cheeks started to blush.
“Eto...I will choose your chubby cheeks over the penguins',” Daiki’s answered shyly and the red tints were visible on both of his cheeks.
“Anou…Dai-chan…eto…suki.”
“Yama-chan….did you just say you like me?” asked Daiki, unable to believe what he had just heard.
“En~..eto... I have liked you since we became best friends.”
“Can I pinch your cheeks Yama-chan?”
“En~…,” whined Yamada as he let Daiki pinch his cheeks.
“Ne, Yama-chan…daisuki! Iku…let’s go to the penguins’ place and see if they have chubby cheeks like you and me or not.” Daiki grabbed Yamada’s hand and pulled him to the penguins place.
“Ne, Dai-chan…honto?”
“Honto…I like you Yama-chan.”
Both of the pinch-able cheeks boys held their hands watching the penguins’ behaviors.
