THUNDER 1/5
“Ne Yama-chan, don’t you think that your face is only two inches farther from mine?”
“Eh, is it? Haha…gomen Dai-chan! I just wanted to move the ladybird from you hair,” replied Yamada. He felt his face becoming warmer and red tints were visible on both of his cheeks. Yamada sat in front of Daiki on the earthen floor. Both of them were resting as they were tired from wandering in the forest trying to find a way out.
“Ah...thank you. Let us continue walking. I think it is going to rain soon,” said Daiki while looking up at the sky. The clouds were getting darker, and same went to the skies. Day was about to be night. They have been wandering here and there in the wild for two hours. They were lost on the way to their resort from the waterfall. The rest of the JUMP’s members were already in their rooms. They left Yamada and Daiki behind as they were too excited swimming in the waterfall.
Daiki stood up and continued walking, left Yamada behind him. Yamada quickly stood to catch up Daiki.
“Ne Dai-chan, gomen I don’t remember they road we took. It was my fault we had to wander around.”
“Iie, it is okay. Both of us don’t remember the way, so need not to blame ourselves now. I hope we can get out from here before the rain starts falling.” Both of them remained silent and continued walking.
The rains suddenly started to fall. Both of them ran under a big tree for shelter but it was no use as the rain drops were getting heavier. They were soaked through their shirts.
Suddenly the lighting flashed followed by the thunder’s roar. Yamada jumped onto Daiki in fear. He was so afraid of the lightning. He hugged Daiki tightly and started to cry. Daiki was startled by Yamada’s action.
“Ne Yama-chan, doushitano? Are you okay?”
“I…I-”
“You what? Are you afraid of the thunder and lighting?”
Yamada nodded and his hands didn’t let go of Daiki. He was so afraid. Daiki held his laugh. He never thought that the tough Yamada would be scared of thunder and lightning.
“Don’t laugh at me!”
“Sorry, sorry.” Daiki felt bad on his behavior earlier. He felt pity for Yamada and let him hug him for a while. Daiki felt that Yamada was shivering under him. He tightened the embrace to warm Yamada.
An hour has passed but the rain hasn’t stopped yet. Both of the boys fell asleep under the tree hugging. Thirty minutes later, they heard JUMP’s members’ voices calling out their names in the rain. They ran towards the rest of the members and walked back to their resort.

[In HS7 room]
“How was it? Did it succeed?” asked Chinen.
“No.”
“How?” asked Ryutaro.
“First we were really lost and second it was raining! I am scared of thunder and lightning!”
“Hahahaha…so now Dai-chan knows that you are scared of thunder and lightning? Where did you hide your face??” taunted Yuto. He couldn’t stop laughing at Yamada when he told him Daiki now knew about his fear.
“Hey don’t laugh! It was so embarrassing you know! I was hugging him until we fell asleep in the rain. I was crying too! Don’t you think that I had already humiliated myself in front of him enough?” exclaimed Yamada.
“But I think the rain was not too bad. You got to hug him and he comforted you, didn’t he? We saw it when we found you and him under the tree hugging each other sleeping. It was so cute and I almost burst into laughter in front of the others as I thought the plan had succeeded!” teased Yuto.
“Yeah…you were right. On a second thought that was not bad too because he hugged me back and comforted me. Though he was laughing at first, but then he felt pity on me,” replied Yamada, smiling.
“Accchhuu!”
“Eh Yama-chan, you caught a cold! You better get some medicine and sleep or it will get worst tomorrow,” advised Keito.
[In HSB room]
“Ne Dai-chan tells us what happened!” shouted Yabu from the kitchen.
“Yeah, Dai-chan! Tell us now. You have been delaying it for an hour,” whined Hikaru.
“Okay…okay I’ll tell you guys. It was nothing. Happy?”
“Lies.”
“It can’t be nothing! There must be something. Tell us now!” said the four of them simultaneously.
“Why should I lie? It was nothing. The plan to make him confess was not working.”
“So it was a waste of time? But we are very sure that he has a crush on you,” said Takaki.
“It was not a waste of time actually. I knew something interesting about him, but you guys need to promise me that you guys won’t laugh!” said Daiki.
“We PROMISE!”
“Yama-chan was…he was scared of thunder and lightning. You guys really have to see his face when the lightning flashed. He got so scared and jumped on me.”
“Yama-chan…he scared of that thing? Hahahaha…I can’t believe that Yama-chan will get scared over lightning. He looks so tough but actually he is not!” said Hikaru and he burst into a big laugh followed by the others.
“Hey, you guys promised not going to laugh!”
“Sorry Dai-chan, it can’t be helped. But you were laughing too!” said Inoo trying to hold his laugh.
“Yeah it can’t be helped. His trembled face looked so cute! I felt like kissing him at the moment but I guess it will just made him trembled even more! My heart went doki doki when he hugged me,” continued Daiki, and all the BEST members burst into laugh.
“Ne Dai-chan…so do you like him?” asked Yabu.
“I don’t know. I guess I do because I can’t resist his kawaii and hot, yet innocent face every time I look at him. Don’t you all agree he is not just a lady killer…but guys too!”
“Definitely! So are you going to confess first? The whole plan was ruined, any new plans that will work out this time?” said Takaki.
“I am not sure yet. But sure we can think of something new!” suggested Hikaru excitedly.
“I wonder what he is doing now,” whispered Daiki.
