What is the deal with dreams?
My dreams have this weird construction. They've always had this tendency to appear in a kind of television form - I'll have them in "episodes", where I'll dream the first part, and then sometime in the future go to sleep and find that the dream continues exactly from the end of the first dream. On top of that, it doesn't happen on consecutive nights - I have this one dream, for example, whose "installments" come every 1-2 years.
I'm only bringing this up because last night, my dreams were different. Usually, I'm inside whatever's happening in the dream (i.e. I become a character that fits in the story of the dream). This time, I had a manga-style dream, in which I was basically just me reading a manga. In other words, my dream presented itself as black-and-white pages of drawings which I would flip through and read. I gotta say, the story of the manga was pretty funny (note - it was a shounen-ai one). I wonder if I'll "read" it again in my dreams - I won't see it in real life, that's for sure, since it doesn't exist. Ah, well :)
